Journey to Recovery

Journey to Recovery is one of the first programs held by MIASA Malaysia at Qaiser Darussalam, Petaling Jaya, which took place in January 2017.

This significant event featured an insightful forum on mental illness, thoughtfully exploring both medical and Islamic perspectives on the challenges faced.

Our primary intention was to connect with and offer support to individuals navigating mental health struggles in isolation, while also fostering broader awareness of their experiences and how the community could provide meaningful assistance on their path to recovery.

We remain deeply grateful for the positive impact of this program and how it kicked off our journey to who we are today.
