More than half of the people who struggle with mental health problems don’t get the help they need. They’re often scared to ask for help because they worry people will treat them badly, or that they might lose their jobs.
This happens because there’s still a lot of unfair judgment and discrimination against people with mental health issues.
These negative attitudes, whether they’re small or big, can really hurt people. They make people with mental health conditions feel left out and treated unfairly. But if we understand how this unfair treatment happens, we can learn how to stop it and make things better.
